Mom, I want to tell you something
in secret:
you are a wise, caring
and very affectionate person
you have a warm heart
full of love
I AM JUST LIKE YOU, BUT DIFFERENT
you think
i cannot do anything
that i am less worthy
than you
you are dead wrong
i am just like you
but different
which doesn’t mean
you can tell me
what to do
i am an adult
and i know what to do
