Munina Schwartz vel Adabisi: Bitter Song

(written down by Kamil Zając, and translated from the Polish by Frank L. Vigoda)

What did Rilke know of golden curls
dresses hemmed with April wind
as the body withers like hymens and delusions

folds of fat fry on my hips
the sun wears an out of fashion tag “hands off!”
I light a menthol cigarette smoke like a Cessna

wisps through my palms the sky is subsonic
the world is high sugars multiply
like decimal fractions so what if I favor cellulose

and have cellulite oh my bitter song
